About Neil Peart – Neil is the drummer and lyricist for the platinum-selling Canadian rock band, Rush. Neil is considered by many to be one of the greatest drummers in rock history.
Sonic Reality has teamed up with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters) to record samples of Neil’s drum kit and musical performances. The drum kit samples are contained in Neil Peart Drums Volume 1: The Kit. These are individual hits of Neil’s top-of-the-line DW® Snakes & Arrows drumkit with multiple articulations and round robin playback (when supported by the sample format). Then we also have powerful performances from Neil in Neil Peart Drums Volume 2: The Grooves available in everything from Apple Loops to REX2 to RMX to simple mp3 and WAV format to use in your own original productions.

Recorded at The Drum Channel by top rock producer/engineer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains) using state of the art microphones and equipment from ‘Ocean Way To Go’, Neil’s incredible sounding drum kit is now playable from any midi controller whether it’s a keyboard, e-drum kit or pads.
