I just downloaded the "Sonic Refill" bundle and then started checking out what I got for my money. A few minutes into my sampling, I had to go back and double check what I paid for this bundle because I couldn t believe what I was hearing. This is an unbelievable deal. The samples on the website don t do it justice. The amount of high quality instruments you get for the price you pay is insane. If you own Reason, and don t own this collection you are really missing out. |

I bought that a while ago from here and I really enjoy these instruments. there is a lot of choice, I ve tons of sounds but I always come back to my gold refills because they are more convenient to use, better organized, they sounds great, I like the combinators etc...I just have a request, why you are not doing more? We need more ones, and in the world styles like celtic instruments, that would be great. Thanks for htis nice product, it is very great for the price.

First things first: I'm a Cubase user. But I've been hearing such good things about the Sonic Refills series (like the Key Buy award for Vol 17, etc) that I couldn't resist getting my hands on the Gold Bundle. The selection of sounds is absolutely incredible. Ultra-high quality, neatly organized, easily programmable thanks to new Combinator modules.
I just load up my favorite patch and Rewire Reason to Cubase and I'm off to the races.
The Gold Bundle is an invaluable sound collection. I put it right up there with SampleTank or Sonik Synth - maybe even a little ahead ;-) |

This is the ultimate collection of sounds for Reason fans. The Version 3 update of this series adds amazing support for the Combinator instrument, as well as many nice revisions to the patches themselves. The sounds have now come to life, and it's easier to get them to sound warm thanks to the Combinator support mentioned above.
I'd say they are now on par with their Sampletank counterparts in terms of punch and clarity and this ultimately makes them more useable for me when I'm trying to crank out the tunes fast. My only qualm with the series is that using the Combinator many times over will hit your CPU hard, but that has nothing to do with the refills more just Reason and my PC which might've had its day by now.
This is some badass hot stuff SR has released! |
